A transition riff between an upper box and a lower box in the blues scale. Helps to connect the riffs in lessons 1 and 2.

    Hello Tony,
    First of all you thanks for posting all this great lesson. I have a problem though that is got me tangle up. Can you explain the main riff that Stevie did on so excited? It seems to me that he makes it sound so different than other blues guitarrist. Can you explain the technique on that. Also he plays this kinda chord walk down in the middle of the song (a chorus kinda thing don’t know how to explain it) it looks like a E7#9 chord and a 9th chord walk down.

    I actually touched on that (So Excited intro) briefly in the lesson called “The Rake” Not very thorough, but should give you some idea how he managed to make that sound the way it did.
