I call them "trainwreck" bends because of the screeching sound they create. A fantastically difficult lick to play from the El Mocambo DVD. I finally learned this after 13 years of avoiding it because someone asked for it and I decided it was finally time to learn it. I still can't play it reliably but I managed to keep it together pretty well for this video.
