Playing Again After 30 Years

First of all, great thanks for the site. I directed the education and scientists and engineers for a large company....so I can say with some authority that you have a gift, not only for your music, but for teaching in this format as well. Keep up the great work.

My Playing Is Much Improved

I’ve got to tell you how much this site has helped me. I picked my guitar back up about 4 months ago after having only plucked at it here and there over the last 8 years and my playing is much improved. Your lessons have had a lot to do with that. I’ve even been to a couple open jams this past week and got up and played with the house band. - Chad

Out Of The Rut at 51

I took up guitar 3 years ago (I'm 51 now) as something I always wanted to learn.....I learned some basic chords and simple songs, but after awhile, my progress stalled. ....I was in a rut. I didn't want to quit, but couldn't find the spark I needed to re-ignite my interest. After looking at MANY on-line tutorials, but finding none that fed the fire, I ran across your site. It seemed to be just right. Just what I was looking for. So I took the plunge and ordered "Fretboard Essentials". WOW. Perfect! This is exactly what I needed. Your teaching style is perfect for delivering the information in the lesson, and the information in the lesson is perfect for building the knowledge and skills needed to advance as a guitar player. They Look Fantastic

I ordered the Essential Fretboard lessons yesterday and they look fantastic. I'll be busy with them for awhile! Thanks for devoting your time to such a worthwhile endeavor. I played guitar many years ago ( more years than I care to remember ) , and its been a great review of the basics. Kinda like meeting a long lost friend after so many years. - Richard

I Forgot How Sweet It Sounds

..thanks for your lessons. I hadn’t picked up my Strat for 10 years - and forgot how sweet it sounds through my 1966 Fender Princeton tube amp with my Holy Grail reverb. You inspired me to get back into it. — George
